Ignite 746 Exercise Bike Review
Never heard of Ignite fitness? You're not alone... the Ignite line of upright and recumbent exercise bikes is made by Lamar Fitness.
Ignite probably isn't the first name you think of when you think of exercise bikes, but if you overlook the Ignite 746 Recumbent in this price range I think you're making a big mistake.
The Ignite offers more useful features than any other recumbent bike under $600.
The best feature on the Ignite (and one you'll be hard pressed to find on any other bike under $1000) is the telemetric heart rate control.
Ignite 746 Key Specs and Benefits:
If you don't know what telemetric heart rate control is, it's a superior form of heart rate monitoring compared to the traditional pulse grip monitor for two reasons, one of which is that the monitor strap rests across your chest and the second reason is that it's wireless.
To round out the package on the 746, Ignite has outfitted this bike with 20 built-in workouts and 16 levels of adjustable resistance. The lumbar seat support is also a welcome addition, and comes standard on the bike.
The Ignite 746 exercise bike is my top pick for recumbent bikes in this
price range hands down...
